2018 A24 Ordered!

Just pulled the trigger on my first brand new boat. Upgrading from an 03 vlx. Couldn’t be more pumped. Boat should be here in early may with an Apr 23 build date. Got it pretty well optioned, pw2, sp3, 3 outlet heater, swivel board racks, Bimini with surf storage, surfgate, plug and play, chillax seats, pop up cleats, cover. I guess that’s mostly it. I’ll post pics when I get them. Thanks to Fman and goatv for the assistance.

Just went through the same process with my family! Coming from a 2001 VLX. We just went out for the first time on Tuesday. Totally different world in he new boat. We didn't order ours nearly as optioned out as you did. Stoked for you guys!

This is our old boat on the left and new boat on the right. Not much difference in size right???

My old boat is basically the same, and I upgraded just to the T22 and I can feel the difference in just a foot longer and 9 inches wider. When I tow I can see into my Sunsetter, see if anything got lose and blowing around, actually that saved me when my back seat flew up one time. But now I all I see is a bow coming at me.

Didn't even think about that! Hope nothing flies out of the new boat! haha

Be sure to regularly check your Tower Speakers are tight to tower. They can shake loose after repeated use or towing. Not worried about falling out necessarily but one someone would hurt.

Do you keep a tool kit on the boat? If so which one? Just a harbor freight basic tool kit would work I'm sure.

I had my echelon up at Wilsons not too long ago next to a 24 MKZ (if memory serves me correctly) and the MKZ just dwarfed my little echelon.  I should have snapped some pics.  Congrats on the new boat!

Congratulations!  That A24 is going to be a beast of a ride.  The soundpack 3 is totally legit, its going to rock the house for you.  Will see you out on the water this summer!  Larson will take care of you, some great guys over at that shop.

Have spent most of our time at Murray but have been to Keystone, Eufaula, Moss lake near Gainesville, and Beaver Lake in Arkansas.

I have heard Beaver Lake is beautiful! I have been down to Murray several times, it is super pretty. My family goes to Tenkiller. We have a cabin and lift there so we are there pretty much every weekend.

Yes but most important T grip Allen Key set for tightening board racks and speakers. The little ones take forever especially if having to remove. Instead of a flat head screw driver find the appropriate socket with extension for your hose clamps makes life easier. I'm sure there is a thread with other suggestions.

This sounds like getting the whiniest person under the loosest tower speaker.

Not whinning brother just seen them shake loose towing and running out on water. Trying to help keep a brother's new ship tight. :)

I know your're not bro,, Im talking about getting the whiniest kid on any boat crew. It was a joke about putting the kid we like the least on boats, and let the speaker fall them.

Try Teflon tape on the threads.. it will help with keeping them from vibrating loose and not gluing them to the threads like Loctite to make for easy removal if needed

Spray date is tomorrow!! Anyone going to the factory this week that might be able to get some pics??

Ask your dealer if he can get you a few.   My dealer knew a couple of guys there pretty good and they would get him a few pics throughout the build.

Boat is either at the dealer or very close. Got he call yesterday to setup a day to come down and sign the doc and pick it up. Hopefully Tuesday. Super excited. Pics will come as soon as I see the boat.
