I’d go have a friendly conversation with your dealer. Just be like hey, our season is short we agreed that my new boat will be here earlier. Is there any way we can use our old boat until the new one comes in, or a demo? 

To me if a dealer is willing to do that you know they’re one you want to stick with.

I'll ask that after I give up on moving the date before I take any other action... I just didn't want to start w/ "giving up" on the new boat...

Same price boat but bump it to a 2019 model and have a sweet demo for the mean time.

I suppose!  Got in touch with someone thanks to a contract from the main BU cross post and reached a happy ending (no pun intended).  Boat will be here by memorial day weekend now (date moved up a month) and I'm back to being excited about the upcoming season.

Sadly is currently snowing with more expected Sunday...
