Question about boat hrs 2016 and newer

Guys, Quick question, do the boat hrs tick over when the 12inch screen is on or only when the motor is running? It should be when the motor is running but is this the case. I know the 17 TXI at our ski club ticks over when the ignition is on but not necessarily running (might be a problem) not sure about my 18 VTX though haven't noticed? Cheers

Should be only when motor is running. I think it is triggered by oil pressure. That way you can keep track of hours for maintenance purposes. Good luck.
