wakeboard wake T23 compared to the LSV

Hi Everyone,

I think I am close to getting my first AXIS (most likely T23 but maybe A/T 22).  I've never had he opportunity to ride behind the T23 and I notice it shares a similar hull (maybe same?) with the 23SLSV.  The wakeboard wake on the 23LSV is bananas and I am wondering if the 23LSV puts out the same.  Thanks everyone!  I ride at 22-23 at and 70 or 75 feet.

T23 wake is great, and i suspect the bottom hull is the same or similar to a 23LSV.

What will change is depending if you get the PW2 or not.

I have a 2017 T23 with no power wedge and we are about maxed on the 409 pcm motor with stock pnp, wedge down, 17 bags of lead, 1100 bag on the floor and 3 people...

With the PW2 and lift mode you will be able to run more weight

I suspect you can prob run more weight in the 23LSV becasue of the power wedge

Oh that looks perfect.  I had a chance to ride with Adam Fields once.  He started throwing raley's so big I thought he was going to land in the trees on the side of the river.

in 17 the base engine is a 6.0 with option for the 409 6.0L and 410 6.0L Ho and i believe the 575 but that is overkill.

if you can get an 18 you will be much happier with the pw2

Not sure about the 23, but my sales rep said the 18 t22 is the same as malibu 22vlx, from the helm to stern, basically all the parts that touch water under power that shape wake.

Actually they do have different hulls.  For one the T22 is 2" longer than the 22VLX and is a different design overall.  This is what we were told on the factory tour.

im just guessing here, but it would seem like malibu would just re use the bottom molds ... id like to think something like this:

A20 = 20 MXZ (before it was discontinued)

A22 = MXZ 22

'18 A24 = MXZ 24

T22 = 22VLX

T23 = 23LSV (old hull)

T23 and Lsv specs don’t match up. T23 is listed 5” longer.
