Perfect Pass Installation

Recommended Posts

My brother in law is looking for someone to install a Perfect Pass on his 2002 Sundowner VLX. Can anyone recommend an installer in the Sacramento or Northern California area?? He lives near Placerville but will tow the VLX for the install.

Thanks in advance for the advise,

If you are even somwhat mecanically inclined, I'd say to do it yourself.

I installed mine on my '03 VLX and it only took me a few hours. The directions were

pretty easy to follow.

I second the install it yourself plan. The instructions are very clear and simple to follow. There are only a few parts to install, and his 03 should be pre-wired in the dash for quick and easy wiring of the gauge. It took me about an hour for the total install. The hardest part being chasing the wiring back to the engine.

What did you do to run the wire back. I am about to do an installation on my 2002 Response LX and reading the directions that is one thing that looks a little challenging.

I just ran it under the gunnel (sp?) down to the back. It's a straight pass all the way to the back and then into the engine compartment.
