How so?

@goatv do you wakeboard a ton? And how big/small is the lake. The second fin won’t really be a factor for surfing but does help for tracking at wakeboard speeds. But if the lake is large and you don’t have to make super tight turns it’s not as big of a factor there either.

Mainly will will be surfing on large lake Dale hollow. If we do wakeboard it's just entry level and nothing I'd pay extra money for. But we wil take decently long cruises across lake. If it helps for overall experience I'd possibly try to quickly add it.

Honestly I doubt you would notice the difference. Obviously it would be very hard to test back to back, if not impossible, but for entry level wakeboarding you won’t notice. Same for long cruises. They are most effective during hard pulls from a boarder or on tight turns. They help the boat not slide. I’d rest easy if I were you :)

Sounds good thanks for info. On another note:  my dealer is wanting to sell me the smaller 550 bags instead of the larger wakemakers. We are usually a small crew of 4. I know a lot of 18 a24's just hitting the water. Anyone have any suggestions what bags to go with. Mostly surfing very little wakeboarding.

It allows you to crab the boat over a little bit more with the single tracking fin while surfing. Now that I think of it, not as effective on surfgate as GSA, taps 3, swell, etc...

I think if you get a bow sac you will want to go with bigger rear sacs. We have the 825's in the rear and a 625 up front, along with all the stock tanks. I would go with the bigger ones. If you need to drain a little to make the wave how you want it you can.
