Family ski boat: SS Xti/Lxi, MC209 or CC216

LXIONE - Do you have people up front alot of the time? If you do not get a bow cover made. That will stop the sub issue. The noise issue I still don't know what could help you with that. I did not get down turned exhaust tips this year because I was afraid that it would change the slalom wake. Next year I think I am going to try it. I have heard that they work very well.

My opinion of the the MC 209 is that it is one of the worst boats that MC has produced since the 99' 190. If you want to see a boat that rides on it's side with just the driver in it, try this boat. I have several friends that have owned them in the past, all of them own RLXi's now, and that boat does nothing very well. The slalom wake is hard and there are 2 sets of very pronounced wakes at every line length all the way to 32 off. I can only imagine that the low speed slalom wake is horrible. Which might indicate that it would have a decent wakeboard wake. The 209 is slow and drives horribly. Make sure you can try one before you even consider it.

I have heard that the new SLXi is not as good of a slalom boat as the old one, but a better wakeboard boat and rough water boat. It is huge when you set inside it.

Good luck

Dwayne
