Trade my 2002 XTi for 2005 Supra SSV?

As the title states I have the chance to trade in my 2002 wakesetter XTi 23' for a 2005 Supra SSV LTS 24'. In the end I'm looking at about $15,500cdn. I know Malibus hold their value better and I've been waiting for a good used LSV but nothing seems to come up in my price range. The "new" boat will have PP, dual batteries and the biggest thing be a v-drive. The XTi is my first boat having never been on the water prior to becoming obsessed with wakeboarding

I was looking for a solid 6 months and found a 2007 23LSV Wake setter loaded w/ hammerhead motor and only 239 hours a few months back for 37K cdn. I'm sure there will be lots of listings popping up soon.

It has the 350 Indmar engine, I saw it in person, I told them they had it wrong online.

That's awesome, I must have missed that boat, where did you have to travel for it ? Not much pops up in the Ottawa area. 

 I was trying to do a trade in to save some tax  I've been looking at that VLX for 40k  but I'd have to sell my XTi first and it's a pretty tough sell.

I did have to travel.  I am in Windsor and picked it up in Muskoka.  Did you see this one?  About  a 3hr drive for you but it's a dealer so maybe you could trade yours:

Riot is Windsor, I'm located south of Ottawa along the border. There are fees to import as well as paying all the taxes (%13).

A really good deal could be worth it but as I said I also need to sell my boat in order to replace it.

I've noticed some really good priced boats in Quebec, all with low hours. If you can make french work might be worth it.

The Tige has to many hours on it for my liking. 

Seems like way more choice in Quebec, that's where my XTI came from.

I also inquired about that LSV. It's a great price if the trailer was included but from what I remember that price was without the trailer.

The hull looks like it spends A LOT of time in the water. Not sure what it means by surf gate... the gel coat has either been redone or painted, looks like a redesign of a new mxz. Also either the trailer isn't properly fitted or it doesn't have on as it's moomba.
