Another one bites the dust...

Took the day off yesterday to get in some runs before the mad rush this weekend- only to find that our favorite ski site had three new additions... "NO SKI" buoys (3 of 'em!) plunked right down the middle of the cove.

This is (was) one of the best, most protected sites on the lake. Not sure what prompted the restriction- killjoy regulation, bad behavior, or a new development (with docks) going in nearby, but intend to find out.

In the meantime, one more spot on an already-too-crowded public lake is gone. Mad.gif

Good thing it doesn't say "no wakeboarding, wakesurfing, barefooting, or tubing" Crazy.gif

Sure that would get you off the hook with the man...."Sir, it says no skiing, not no wakeboarding"

This is one benefit of having our local lake being a state park. There are no homes or private interests that somehow are given the authority to deem a part of the lake as theirs and close it off to others. The downside of course, is you can't live on the lake.
