Definitely liking it on the seat bases. Can you ballpark cost?

Sticker on the floor kit is $1,024, and the top deck and swim platform/transom kits are separately priced (roughly $400-450/each). Checking all the boxes on their website, except for storage areas, gets you to $1,869. That's for a 2017 and may not include the sides since they don't list 2018 23 LSV prices yet.

Your dealer may have a deal with GatorStep too, so I'm not sure what the all in cost would be if dealer installed.

Thats pretty close, I did what you did for a 2017 Lorens a friend and helped me out with the install.

You have to have written permission to use the axis or malibu logo on non factory installed gatorstep. I’ve tried a couple times with no luck from malibu

Yes I had to get permission, We are doing a project for wake the World Oregon, Gatorstep in one of our sponsors,

Can you let me know who you talked to at malibu. I’m a dealer for gatorstep and this has been a problem for me personally and with customers of mine. Every time I call malibu I get referenced to someone different and they politely return my call and deny the permission slip.

I get them wanting to protect their brand but I don't think they've thought this through very well.  For all of the many boats that have gone naked on the sides of the boat this is an excellent opportunity to re-introduce branding to the boat, and in a consistent, professional manner that would please all parties...and in the end is free marketing for them.
