Hi I am from Melbourne Australia. Water temp at Lake Eildon is 22.5 Celsius ie 72.5 f. Before heavy rains last week it was 24.5.

Conditions are perfect at the moment.

cheers

Just came back from our anual week away from our slice of heaven down near Grafton at Seelands on the Clarence River.

http://www.bigriverholidaypark.com.au/

We have a week away every Xmas & Easter plus numerous weekends throughout the year.

Last week we had during the week between one (our boat) & 3 boats on the water which is why we go before Xmas

Last week we had a pleasant week, although last year we had a run of 40-42 deg C days. 105 deg F

Regular day temps during summer 30-34 deg C, cal it 90 deg F

Water temps 26-28 deg C, call it 80 deg F

We live half way between Brisbane & the Gold Coast & it takes us 3 hours & 15 min to head south to the park.

Close enough for a weekend away, leave work Friday evening & get back home Sunday arvo.

Boat lives down there during suymmer under cover as we have a lodge whiuch makes it so easy.

Bring the boat home during winter for a good clean, polish & those tinker or upgrade jobs you look at during the summer months.

Great spot have been going there for over 30 years

Brisbane river was 30C last week (air temp 36C).  That's a few km upriver.  Are you heading Down Under?

Depends on who you ask, but I am definitely toying with the idea.  It would be an amazing experience for us as a family.
