Malibu Introduces the New 2018 21 MLX at Malibu National Dealer Meeting

Wake boats been getting more ugly in the last 5 years or so.... common trend.

Good to see a Malibu still in the 80s price range though.

I’m not super crazy about the looks of the new MLX, but it is a beauty queen next to the new Moomba Helix and MAX. 

Usually you see these pics, and you think “yuck”. Then you see it on the water, and think “not a bad looking boat”. Not the case with Max and Helix. They are as ugly on the water as they are off. 

I’d rate it-

It's ok to be a price point boat, but don't look like a price point boat.

Malibu is set to add it to their boat configurator on December 11!

Where did this information come from ? We've been looking on the configurator and no sign of MLX. Our dealer can't give a date prediction and thinks it could be Jan 18 before it goes live.

At the Malibu Dealer Meeting they informed us that they would be releasing a press release and a boat build option for the MLX on December 11. But you're right, it does not appear to be on their website yet. I will try to get in touch with Malibu and let you know if they have an update!
