Wikipedia - Malibu Boats

I noticed that Malibu Boats didn't have anything listed at all. Mastcraft was the only manufacturer to have a real listing.

I thought it would be good to list something.

I'm new to the whole Wikipedia thing, not sure if I did this thing right or not. They've got all kinds of disclosures about copywrited materials. We'll see what happens...

Feel free to change, add, delete what you wish.

Tracie, is there a way to make up a tiny logo that we can upload for 'The Malibu Crew' LINK?

There's no wakesurfing page. Brad or someone needs to make one up quick and put a picture up with a Malibu boat. Probably something with Papa Bear would be appropriate.

If you click on the Wakeboarding page LINK, scroll down the page. You'll see that someone's put TheMalibuCrew.com as the number one forum to go to to discuss wakeboarding.

Sucks cuz I spent a while putting it together this morning. You know, getting through the learning curve of Wikipedia. Then I clicked the wrong thing and lost it all. Man, I hate that.

The second time I put it back together in a couple minutes, since I'd figured it all out. But still, a bummer none the less.

I've played with the photo a bit, I think I like it like that the best.

thats pretty sweet! seems kind of light thought, i think it needs more info. some one should post full wright ups of all the boat models(hull designe/ options/ every thing)

I had it in there like 2 years ago and someone went and erased it. So, I re-added it today when Andy brought up the topic

Yes, but it cuts both ways.

As a matter of fact, I posted a wakesurfing page. But some guy deleted it and redirected 'wakesurfing' to 'wakeboarding'. So if you type, wakesurfing into their search engine, wakeboarding pops up.

The guy obviously doesn't know anything about wakeboarding/surfing. He claimed wakesurfing was the same thing as wakeboarding.

Also, it marks any changes that are made and says who did it. It puts your user name or IP address, and says what time/date you made the changes and what changes were made.

So, I was able to PM the guy who made the changes above to wakesurfing. We'll see what happens.

I've gotten the wakesurfing page up again. The guy who pulled it down put in a bunch of his own language. I need to clean it up.

I put my picture in there as a placeholder.

I know there's lots better pictures of boarders / wakes. But the copyright nazi's on there are on it like white on rice. Basically if you didn't take the picture yourself they'll strip the picture in a matter of hours.

Lots more to be done to the page, basically just using it as a placeholder as we add to it.

I edited Ski Nautique-> Correct Craft (Nautiques)... I'll try to get something to add to the wakeskating page behind the VLX next weekend... However, wakeskating is moving more and more away from the wake and more and more towards urban outlets. Winching etc.
