Subscription Upgrade ?

Some others may be interested in the answer to this so I figured I would post here.

I currently have a reoccurring subscription setup for support. If I purchase a new reoccurring subscription for Crew Chief, will it stop my supporter subscription automatically? I looked to see if I can cancel the supporter subscription, but didn't see / missed where that is.

With the recurring subscriptions, it gets tricky because the recurring payment portion is actually set up in & controlled by Paypal, & it can't be changed after it's initially set up. What I would recommend (& would probably be the cleanest going forward) is to do the following (& you'll need to work with Malibudude to work it all out):

1. Cancel your recurring payment in Paypal.
2. Have Malibudude prorate what is left on your current subscription & refund it to you.
3. Cancel the current subscription to bump you back down to the member level (I think that Malibudude may need to do this as well).
4. Then you should be able to set up a new recurring subscription at the Chief level.

That's the best way that I can think of going forward. Make sure that you follow those steps in that order.

I think if you try to do it any other way, namely trying to add on to or modify the current subscription, it's going to get really messy.

I can handle it anyway you prefer.?. If I had my choice cancel and prorate it for you moving forward is best and cleanest.
