What battery do I need?

I  purchased a 2013 Response TXI with a Monsoon 350 SS engine. I discovered today that it has a deep cycle battery used as a starting battery. Obviously, that is not correct. What battery do I need?

I have a marine starter battery that I use.

In the past there were hybrid deep cycle/starter batteries for marine use.  More expensive than just a starter and shorter life in my experience.  I do not have much of a sound system so the deep cycle was not really necessary.

Just make sure you get the proper size....

group-24 marine starting or dual purpose. Or keep the deep-cycle and install a dual bank setup.
