Finally got my Icon 8's (4) mounted to my factory g3 shelf, amp hooked up and tuned. I just drilled new holes in the shelf to mount with the X mount bracket from WS rather than pay $300 for the adapter bracket. I went with the WS Syn DX2 per advice from @MLA, and let me say, these icons are loud!! Granted, haven't had it in the water yet, but in the driveway, holy shyte, are they loud! I could not imagine how loud the Rev10s would be, or even the 8s from everything I read prior to purchasing. I am more than pleased with how they sound tho, great mid and low range, all while being very crisp and clear on highs. I will probably need to play with the 420 a bit once I get it in the water, but for now, it sounds amazing. Thanks again to MLA for the advice to me earlier on, and I think I made the right choice. We only surf, float and swim, and believe the Icons will be perfect for my needs.
