Breakers and fuses 2011 vtx

Recommended Posts

Dose anyone know where other breakers would be at?  just took it out of winter storage and I have no power to dash.

Checked the perko, 80 amp and the fuse box on the engine.

there should be a heavy cb within a few feet of the battery and another heavy cb at the engine.

i have zero experience w perko; it doesn't perform any function other than switching does it?

if you have no power anywhere in the boat i'd start at the battery with a meter and scowl hard at that perko.

Did you disconnect the battery during storage or just turn the perko off?  If you actually disconnected the battery then have a look around for an extra ground wire that you may not have reconnected. (I might have done that on my last boat once and then spent half a day trying to figure out why my trim pump wasn't working)
