So in the pouring (and very cold) rain I checked everything I could. Even made a new jumper for the kill switch. No spark.

Distributor has seen some mild corrosion but dry. Coil  doesn't seem to fire. I couldn't locate the ECM fuses.

Does the 2004 response LXI Indmar have an OBD plug? Couldn't find one either!

I gave up and "brought it in " to Towne and Country Marine. Waiting to hear the diagnosis.

The rain finally stopped today, now, get this, there's a frost warning tonight. Will the season ever start?

it does not have an obd plug, bit has an mefi plug that requires a special cable and software - around $700 worth.  Good call on taking it to dealer at this point.  Hopefully they find issue quick and you are back on the water.

Thanks,  for 700$ (1000 $ CDN) I think I'll pass on that. Let's hope the dealer finds the problem easily and not much is wrong. It ran perfectly last year

I know that you already took it to a mechanic...

Another thought would be the 3 relays, ignition, starter, and fuel.  I have had to swap them around before on my 2004 to get the boat to start twice.  First was after installing the new engine one was severely corroded, gauges would power up, starter would turn the engine, but would never fire and actually start. Found the corroded relay and replaced it.  Couple years later it did the same thing but this time on the water, swapped the relays around and it started right up.  Bought and replaced all 3 relays that time.

Final solution was the ignition module inside the distributor.  !!!!

i had to buy a whole new distributor on the advice of the dealer.  Wasn't cheap
