Paddle wheel system I am guessing? If so, I would start with where the wheel wiring harness connection in the bilge, port/left side of the trans.

I will check it, the paddle wheel spins fine. Any thoughts on nautic lagic gps?

I have heard and read good things about it on here. Briefly considered it, but my paddle wheel is doing the job for me for surfing 98% of the time. If I wake boarded or was still pulling a really good wake boarder a lot I would probably do it, but those days are over so I can't justify the expense. My wife is wanting to upgrade surf boards so it will be money better spent there. Have a good summer. Bill

My Speedo wasn't working this week on my 05 vlx....then intermittent, then worked.  I am not sure how the signal is sent....but I'm hoping I lucked out.
