95 response with 350 EFI. rotor issues

Recommended Posts

Hey guys-

i have a 95 350 MAG EFI and I just got a new cap and rotor from skidim. Both parts match appropriately; however, the new rotor will not fit-its incredibly snug. I don't want to force it on-is that right or wrong? I tried calling skidim but I believe they are closed. Should it be that snug? The old one goes on and off pretty easy (I have no idea how old it is-we just bought the boat).

Clean the post up with some emery clothe. I've ran into a few that where tight and I've ran into a bunch of mercruisers that I've had to destroy the rotor to get them off due to corrosion/rust

For me it's usually the opposite.
