Shower install help

Recommended Posts

Jtkw

Hey lads, starting to cool off in Australia at the moment and as expected I've left the shower install till the last minute. Around xmas I picked up a 2013 VLX with the monsoon  350 ss. Before I go randomly poking around is anyone able to tell me where I can pick up hot water, I've read on the earlier engines there's a drain plug on the block somewhere but I thought I heard on the later engines they use that for a knock sensor?

Any info/pics would be really helpful thanks

I take it the intake manifold just had a bung you were able to remove?

i have a similar pump, do you get decent flow to the shower head?

Correct, under the intake cover there is a capped hot water outlet. Mine was actually marked with a label. So in my case my heater is connected to this hot water outlet and then my shower is connected to it with a "T".

Yeah, the water flow is pretty decent with the pump even at idle.
