We've had our low oil pressure light on at idle and low speeds since the day we bought the boat. The dealer says this is normal.

Yes, they say that is normal to have that light on by the throttle when in idle. Once you start the accelerate the light goes off. If freaked us out the first day on the boat but we hear that this happens a lot with that engine.
