Recommended Posts

What would the symptoms be if the wires were touching. Four XM-9s powered by a Wetsounds SD2.

Speaker wires? Shorted speakers leads would likely send the amp into protect mode. Shorted power cables would likely trip the upstream circuit protection. B+ shorted to the turn-on would keep the amp turned on all the time and short to the ground could blow a head units turn on circuit.

Speaker wires right where they go into bottom of the mount. Only when turned up loud does it act up.
