Shawn thanks for info.  I might need to hit you up if i run into any issues since your the stero master.

Completely off topic but I remember a thread last year where you recommended some blue liquid detailer as opposed to boat candy or boat bling for half the cost.    But I can't seem to find that thread.

Ok so I made some progress today.

Found the speaker wires.

They are run into a connector and are run to the black box with all the other wires.

I removed the factory sub box.  It was a royal pain in the a$$

And I ran all my RCAS and power wires for the WS-420 BT.   I was able to do it with only removing the top cover to the hard tank reaching in the corner and then running it in btw the wall.

Oh and the Qbomb fit..... thank god.

Also I checked out my sub on the 400.2 and it worked.  So that was good news.

Made some progress this morning.

Its raining here in Ohio and I can't fit the boat in my 3 car Garage believe it or not so I am stuck working under the cover.

Removed the old amps and Got the new amps wired and mounted up.

The both have power and turn on .

I was pretty amazed how much better the javelin made my inboats sound.   Night and day difference.

I didn't remove the amp rack  there were some challenges but over all not terrible

Yes, that IS massive power even for a large speaker like the Rev10. But if tuned correctly and used with the correct disciplines, the over-the-top power should be all positive.

Well finished up for the Day. Pretty happy with my progress.  Considering I spent the entire day under the cover.

All that I have left is to mount the tower speakers, mount the sub to the qbomb and secure to the floor.  Then figure out how to make a new kick panel.

This is why i like to build a custom enclosure, rather than a store bought, Design the enclosure to mate to the existing woofer hole. Retain the original facade with OEM matching carpet.

Done it both ways... me thinks a new facade is a lot easier to cut out and carpet than building a custom box with complex math, angles, etc.

There may be other reasons to go custom, but this isn't one of them, imho.
