Pick-UpTrucks.com 3/4-Ton Work Truck Test

Recommended Posts

They tested the 3/4 tons, as well as the Nissan XD.  Stripped, gassers this go around.  The Ford faired very well.  IMO, the Titan would be better suited to compete against the 1500 trucks.

With Ford going aluminum, I expected them to be the lightest.  They must have been pretty porky before their update.

It did say the ram was the only one without power windows/locks/mirrors.  But that is surprising and it'll only get lighter with that good ole dodge bedside rust!

Even the new work trucks in my local area seem to be becoming higher trim levels. I see those pictures and think who actually buys those.

bedside rust.  I think you are still living a long way in the past.  That would be like saying that Chevy cab corners rust out;)
