Transom remote

Hello,

If I were to add a transom remote (rear of boat by the swim platform) where would it be connected? Boat is in storage an cannot check if there is a specific connection on the HU.

I have a 2010 VLX with JBL HU, also the rear seating has MUX remote.

What remote would you suggest I purchase?

Under the gunnels near the bilge fan there should be 2 existing unused wires for a remote zip tied to a wire loom or they may be inside of one of the looms in that area. I would research what remotes would be compatible with your existing JBL remote on the dash and buy the cheapest waterproof remote available for the transom. I hardly ever use mine, but I don't have little kids anymore either. JM2C

did you ever figure out where to buy a remote and if the wires were there?  I'm looking at adding a transom remote in a few weeks.  Planning it out now.
