Oil Pressure Sender Replacement

Recommended Posts

DonT

Really easy question for those of you that have replaced your Oil Pressure Sender on the Monsoon (1998) engine - when removing the old unit - does it pee oil?

It is not under pressure if the motor is not running.  So, no it will not.  Drip maybe a drop or two.

Have a rag handy.

Don't use Teflon tape when installing, it need metal to metal contact in order to complete the circuit and function.
