We didn't get it on video, but yesterday we were surfing and I signalled we were going to turn around (we were on a river and I don't cruise past the boat ramp when we're loaded!!).  I think he thought I was going to turn with him still surfing but that would have sent some massive rollers all the way down the river - so I just eased off on the throttle, assuming that he knew what I meant.  You should have seen his face as he ended up passing the boat - complete shock!! ????
