Slurpee has one on his VLX. We have decided after much testing between his VLX and my LSV (both 2016's) that the Surfpipe is a little quieter at slow speed and possibly knocks off 1 or 2 MPH. 

BTW...I ordered one on my 2017 23.

I have it on my '16.  Not sure how much it changes the "in boat" volume, but while surfing .. I can barely hear the boat.  Just the sound of the water.  I love it!

The Axis I used this summer had it an it is noticeably more quite in the boat and especially while surfing then without it. I would probably order it if I were ordering a new surf boat.
