No misunderstanding, I did get sloppy however.  By definition, the vent is also a drain, but I understand what you are saying.

 

Bottom line, the new boats have a PNP vent option that costs more.  It's not needed, but is usable.

Youre in chaska?  Where do you boat?  Go to MN inboard and have them set you up.  Those guys ride as hard as any and will tell you exactly how to dial in your wake and youll leave with the parts in hand.  I can almost guarantee they are the same price as wakemakers too. 

EDIT: Joe or Dan will have you dialed in.
