I just transferred the funds on my last boat, seller had the funds in two hours.  Only draw back was I was too impatient to wait on the shippers so I just took a little road trip with the wife.  Funny story, we stopped in Pagosa Springs on the way, got a room, went to chill in the hot pools & this older couple starts chatting us up, starts buying drinks & then the hints they want to swing started coming.

Maybe the name should be pagosa swings

I'm buying my boat from a gentleman from another state with lien. His loan is through a national bank so I established an account and loan through same bank. We both signed power of attorney forms so the bank can expedite transaction and title issuance without delay. The bank said once all conditional elements of the sales agreement are met (sea trial, ski run, etc), stop by the local branch and pull the trigger to swap funds and new title will roll out the printer. My scenario is slightly different as I'm driving 750 miles to owners house. But hopefully you can use some of this technique. Best of luck!
