Quick Shift Wake Surfing

Make your own. Research "suck gate" and find plenty of options and patterns to make your own. For about $30, 2 hours, and a few brewskis you will have a nice wake shaper.

Everyone and their brother is making one of these suck-gate style wake shapers now.  Nothing new.  Only company that really has done anything innovative in the aftermarket is the (expensive) WaveControl system:  https://www.wakemakers.com/wavecontrol

I wish there was another automatic system out there in the aftermarket to choose from.

I find my wave control / go surf assist requires tons more weight than gates though.  Wave is sick don't get me wrong but I am running 5400 pounds to achieve it.  I can run about 3000-3500 with my tsunami & get a great wave, better in some degrees for popping off the lip but doesn't have the monster push & length that running 5400 & the GSA gets.

I've seen these guys on facebook talking about awards and new patents they received but it looks like a GSA/wavecontrol knockoff. it is cheaper. :)

I though Malibu had the patent on everything with the word surf in it?

Unless they are offering discounts, you can get the Wave Control with the TMC discount for nearly the same price - a product that is better known and not using the generic Lenco controller.

I don't think they are stating their tabs are patented (though their wording sucks), but rather that this is a patented technology used by boat manufacturers.

I was working on that statement.. Plus GSA installed mine.... They are more than a tab.. the venturis on the end of the tab are what they are all about... Also have to state that the customer service at GSA is topnotch...

I guess they are referring to patents on small design features not the whole system like I thought.

it includes:
GPS Integrated Controller.
Patented “Offset Hinge” design blades.
Patented “Adjustable Actuator Mounts” set tab deflection angle.
Patented “Adjustable Angle Mount” fits all transom angles.

Electro Polished Heavy Duty 12 Gauge Stainless Steel Blades.
Lenco “Extreme Duty” electric actuators.
Waterproof backlit L.E.D. Indicator Switch with Auto-Retract feature.

Really?  I find that tab to be useless & just went back to flat

I was advised not to mess with setting of the back tab... my statement is that the venturis on the back tab is what makes them different than just a tab system (as the wake worx system and MasterCraft). They redirect the water flow causing the wake convergence hydraulically instead of mechanically.

Gotcha.
