2003 Indmar Monsoon 335 Drain only 1 side of engine block for winterization

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I was unable to remove my '03 Wakesetter driver's side engine block screw as it was stripped.  I removed my right side screw where the knock sensor is and unhooked the quick disconnect hose.  Do I need to worry about the other side of the engine block for the winter?  I live in VA and keep the boat at Lake Anna about 2 hours south of DC.  So we have some cold months. but not as bad as up north.

Thanks!

Make sure your replacement plug is brass and don't overtighten it. A pinch more than hand tight should be enough.  If it leaks turn it a little more.
