Winterization Question

Recommended Posts

I've winterized my old moomba many times before and never had an issue.  Everything was going smoothly with the winterization of my 2011 V-Ride until I tried to disconnect the stiff water hoses leading into the v-drive.  I was unable to remove those hoses leading into the v-drive on either side but was able to remove the 2 brass drain plugs on the bottom backside of the v-drive (see attached pic).  The boat was hooked to the trailer (tilted towards the bow) and water drained out when I pulled these drain plugs.   I drained the block, water pump houses and disconnected the hose leading to the heads.  Afterwards I ran the boat with 5 gals of -50 R/V antifreeze until all pink was coming out.  I live in CT and we get some cold nights (0 and sometimes below 0).

Do you think I'm safe?
