I would make a comment that No one skis anymore, but the new response thread has more posts than the 22MXZ  and 24MXZ  threads COMBINED!

Lots of people ski, almost nobody actually buys NEW ski boats.

I still ski... One of my friends just bought a brand new MasterCraft ProStar... They still sell, just not in the quantities of "wake boats"... but still a viable market that I believe a manufacture would not want to pull out of.. most tournament manufactures are still producing 3 event boats

We old-school old-timers still get excited about modern updates of classic designs.  I even use two parabolic snow skis.  Go figure.

Isn’t the 5000 across the entire line up, isn’t the announced money always across the line up

Previous years it varied across the Malibu line and was up to $5,000 depending on model. Most models were less and the older year models had more of a discount than the newest year model.

My dealer says it ends November 30th.  I think they are just eager to get me to commit.  The flyer above says December 15th.

So can anyone tell me which models are $5000 off?  Malibu’s pumping up the 5k reasons to buy campaign, but It doesn’t seem like they have any models that at $5k off.

23 or 25 LSV.  Essentially, I want 25 performance and space for 23 price, haha.

Have you demoed a 25? I was hoping to try it out this fall but didn’t get a chance to get in it outside of the shop.

My neighbor just bought one and they’re selling quickly around here. I was really tempted too but I’m with you on liking the 23 price point. However, you’re a 25’ boat guy because of your 247 years, so go with the 25 this time.

I believe that’s only for leftover M235’s. That was the case last year, and I’d imagine it’s the same deal this year.

Did not yet, but it seems that everyone who has done both seems to think it is better.  Tow vehicle, garage space and fuel economy are not factors for me, so it seems like the obvious choice, although really large crew only happens a minority of the time.

That's a good thing in my book, and has nothing to do with the size of boat I want. Waiting 3 hours between sets is for the birds.

I asked my dealer about the dates.  They were surprised to hear of any December 15th talk.    Interestingly, it says right on the Malibu website that it ends December 1st if you look under 'news and events'.  https://www.malibuboats.com/news/

It seems like the December 1 date is obscurely placed, but it is definitely there.
