new cabins based on Revs?

Thought I read in the super long thread about the 2017s Malibu Wetsounds option that the new WS cabin speakers are based on the Rev series technology, not the XS-650s.  Curious if anyone has pictures, how they compare, and/or better yet, can we buy them separately?

Watch for more info regarding the Revo series to hit when SEMA opens. Yes, they will be available to consumers, if thats what you mean separately. It was a thread regarding the 2017's and i though there were a couple pics of the new speakers. They are level above the XS/SW (which are getting some tweaks also) but the they are not an HLCD. They use a more traditional tweeter.

Lost more to come so be on the look out. I hope it makes it way here organically.

MLA, I've seen some general marketing on the new Revo speakers.   They don't look much different than XS in literature, besides being deeper I'm told.  Anything else you can share in terms of SQ or other benefits?   Asking because there are some good deals on the XS out there.

Rugger,

The Revo are voiced (tuned) all new from the XS series. New basket, new motor, IIRC they will have pigtail leads rather than spade terminals. No more RGB and non-LED speakers, there is one part number and it has RGB LEDs and the user can choose to connect LEDs or not.
