Bow Ballast Bag

Considering a few options for bow ballast (Malibu Hard Tank or Bow Ballast Bags).  I have a 2011 V-Ride and I'm figuring I need approx. 500 lbs. of bow ballast.  I like the idea of having useable space up front and leveraging the under seat space.  Being 8" hight I'm hoping they don't cause the bow seats to pop too much... Does anyone have either of these 2 under bow seat bags.  Any pics/feedback would be appreciated!

I used the sumo in my 2011 V-ride 21 plumbed in with a reversible pump. Bag was way to big, I might have been able to fill it halfway before the nose cushion popped. I would use lead if I did it again.

I have the same boat as you and the Flyhigh version of the U shaped bow bag plumbed into a reversible pump.  It only gets about 1/2 full before popping the cushions up.  When I run a small crew, I'll take it out and place it on top of the cushions so it can fill 100%

I've got the same hull and use the same Flyhigh bow bag with 240 lbs. of shot under it.  Don't mind if the cushions pop up.  People like to sit on them and bounce a bit.  Between the shot and the bag I figure I have at least 500 lbs. up there.  Also 600 lb. bag in the ski locker which runs up into the bow, so that helps as well.  The Sumo does not look like a good shape.
