Prestige trailer rocking at slow speed

Recommended Posts

Towing my friends 95 Response and it has a heck of rocking/bounce at 25mph. If looks like the boat is going to flip off to the side. Haven't noticed this before but this week he and I had the same thing using different tow vehicle All other speeds travel well.

Tires look great and air is correct PSI.

I have noticed that driver sided left most bunk is only touching the boat in the front and back. All other bunks rest appropriately. Maybe this is causing it?

The bunk doesn't sound good for the hull.  but id jack up each tire just high enough to get it off ground, spin it and see if it is round.

If this doesn't show anything, I'd tow it again and get someone else to drive beside it and observe the tire.

How does it tow without the boat on the trailer? I had 2 old bad tires and it bounced like crazy when unloaded. OK when loaded but I'm sure they would have blown soon. Much smoother with new tires.
