Stop the Beeping

Recommended Posts

This past weekend we had taken a couple of sets and the boat was running fine. Turned off the boat during a skier change. Turned on the blower in preparation for the next skier. Turned the ignition on and at this point the blower turned off with the switch still on. The boat started fine but the ignition or warning beeper never shut off. Check temp and oil gauge and everything was fine, water depth was not an issue. Kept using the boat and no problems. I have used the boat three times since the initial problem and the beeping will not stop. Any help would be appreciated as the dealer is an hour away and the boat is on the hoist.

Mine did the same thing last season. First thing I would check is the oil pressure sender. Your boat will have (2), one (the larger one) will be for the gage, the smaller one is for the warning buzzer. To check it, just remove the wire and see if the buzzing stops. You can buy one anywhere, NAPA, etc.

Good Luck
