2016 winterization for closed loop motors

Recommended Posts

I know there are 5 separate drains to let water out for winterization, my question aside from the heater/shower, is there anything else that has to be done to the new 2016 raptor engines with the closed loop system?

Thanks a lot!

So there is a thumb screw on the heat exchanger, a drain plug on the v-drive and then a transmission hose.  I thought those were the only 3.  I don't have a shower but the heater is closed cooled with the engine, so no need to drain that.
