Winter storage cover

Hello everyone,

I have a 1999 Response LX.  I live in the Northeast and have stored my boat in my yard for about ten years.  To winterize my boat every year I have cut plywood (to support the snow) to fit the whole boat and used a tarp that I fitted to it and tie down for years.  This has worked for me for years except that the last 2 years in a row when I uncovered the boat in April/May the whole interior has been covered in black mold.   I realize the tarp does not breath so I am looking for a good quality cover that will breath and doesn't cost $1,000.  Not so sure that the shrink wrap wouldn't do the same thing?????  Any suggestions on some brand name covers you guys may use???

Just install the vents in whatever tarp you use. No sewing needed. The black round vents sandwich the tarp material, and you can have a pole support them/the snow. Shrinkwrappers here only include 2 small vents, but I always ask for 4.

My buddy installed little solar fan vents in his cover; has done a nice job keeping it dry when left on the lake for fall skiing (best time of year after everyone else puts their boats away)

Thank you everyone for the help and ideas.  Never thought of installing vents myself.  I wish I could find indoor storage, I would def go for that.  I considered the shrink wrap before but for the same money I thought I could purchase a good cover.
