Maradyne heaters

I'm going to be adding another heater unit to my boat because one of my outlets has a longer run and is not as powerful as it should be and its the one everyone tends to use.

For or how simple of a device these heaters are I was having trouble pulling the trigger for the price they go for.  I found maradyne heaters and I can find them for half the price of the heater craft heaters.  I think I saw one installed in a Supreme boat but I'm not sure if it was a factory heater.

Anyone know anything about maradyne?

I don't know anything about Maradyne, but realistically anything wit a heater core and blower motor is gonna work.   I was gonna buy a cheapo one from Priness Auto (think harbour freight) an d add it during the off season.  I agree generally they are way over priced.

keep your eyes open for a heatercraft sale. I think they do one late every year. If I recall I got 40% off (couple years ago).

and, yes, I recommend lots of heat. I have two 3-outlet systems (42K btu). everyone's happy.

I purchased and installed a Maradyne heater in my last boat.  It worked great and the quality is excellent.  It just cost less.  They sell several styles of hot tubes.  I give them an A.
