Help save my vacation

I'm trailering my boat from Wisconsin to Watts Bar Lake in Tennessee for a Labor Day getaway with friends. I just realized I forgot to pack the surfboard and I MUST have one for this trip - good friends have been talking about surfing for some time now. 

 

Can any of you in the Watts Bar area recommend a good place to buy a new board?  Or does anyone have one to sell or rent/borrow for the weekend?

I live too far or I would help you myself. I looked it up and there is a place in Hendersonville, coming from your way through Nashville.. IDk if they have surf boards but...

depending on your route - 

Clarksville, IN - just north of Louisville on 65, there is a Bass Pro and a Dicks Sporting Goods. 

Nashville, TN - Dicks and Bass Pro.  

Also, search for Gander Mountain. They have a partnership of some sort with Overton's and may have what you need. There are many locations thru this area.

Dicks usually has a decent selection of waterspouts gear. 

Pure boating stores may be closed for the 3 day holiday, so call ahead before you drive out of your way.

Thanks guys!  I really appreciate the suggestions. I called a number of places, but the few that carried boards had little in the way of choices. 

Ultimately my wife and I decided we would launch and ski/wakeboard today, then figure out the surf tomorrow. Luckily we met another surfer on the water and he offered to lend us an extra two boards (not just one) for the weekend. This just proves again that inboard owners are awesome and understanding/willing to help others.  Major props to Billy for saving our weekend.
