I need help I made a diy suction cup surf gate for my 2006 waksetter vlx and the suction cups do not stick to the hull that is below the waterline. The hull is not flush so the cups don't stick.they are 4 2/3 diameter cups. Any suggestions

Wipe the area off and push on it while you secure it. Mine with the harbor freight cups sticks to just about any part of the hull. You want to do it just below the malibu letters.

Thnx i'll give it a try. I have the harbor freight cups as well and they stuck to the part of the hull thats out of the water no problem, but the part of the boat that is in the water is not flush or has an angle so the cups didn't stick but i'll try it again. But I wasn't pushing on it either, thanks

I had the same problem. Attached the "front" cup first and then push down on the "back" cup so that it is flush with the boat. I sometimes have to push on the cup itself to get it to seal properly.
