Raising the Malibu Wedge out of the water

Has anyone been able to raise the Wedge when the boat is out of the water?  I popped the resetable fuse and wanted to test the Wedge.....it deployed just fine but will not go up.  Everything I read says you need to go between 1-10mph to raise up??

It's a safety feature that the boat has to be moving before the wedge can be raised (so nobody gets squashed out the back lol). Not sure on the older models but on my 2015 you can pull the paddle wheel assembly from inside the boat and spin it with your hand while some one presses the up button (too far to reach by yourself). Or if you have GPS control you can tow behind the truck and do the same.  I believe there is also a way of doing t solo within the settings (again, not sure on the older ones) but I can't recall the details and my boat is getting her start of season service (first outing for the season this Sunday). If you remind me I can check then?

This is what I have done on my 2008 and it works great and nobody has to crawl under the boat.
