New boat search

Well, it is a bitter sweet day.  Just said goodbye to our last boat...sad to see it go, but it is time to start looking for a new one.  Maybe the crew can help out :-).  Here is what we are looking for.  I have a bunch of searches going but maybe someone will find something we haven't seen.

2015-2016 Wakesetter VLX.  Probably a color combo of white and blue, but not too much blue.  Other colors can be in there as well.  Price budget is 75k.  I am open on the features of the boat so throw out whatever you find.

I saw that one but my wife didn't love it...I think she is looking more like a dark blue (sorry, I should have said that).  Otherwise the color scheme is pretty much spot on.  Not too much blue but enough that you would likely be able to sell it again.

Looking for the 22 VLX.  We just sold an 03 VLX and are looking for something just a little bit bigger so the 22 would probably be perfect. We sat in the new 21 VLX but didn't love it, and when I am spending this amount I want to love it right away.

Thanks for the help...keep them coming.  I have 8 months to find the new rig :-)

But what's up with the Axis trailer under a Malibu?  Think the sale is for boat only without a trailer?

good question...it doesn't say anything about no trailer but then again the description doesn't really tell a ton about the boat.

Private seller - easier to negotiate, and no sales tax.

Not sure what the price is, but I do like these colors.

I'm guessing you've already seen both of these too, but I can keep searching later this week.  (I love boat shopping!)  I've found that a good way to find a lot of Malibu's available is to go to each individual dealer's website (can search off the Malibu homepage) and do an inventory check.  There are a lot of boats out there not posted on Boat Trader or Only Inboards.

Good finds guys.  I have seen the Boulder Boats one but I haven't looked at Boat Trader much...guess I need to look there now.  Keep them coming.  I like what I am seeing so far!

Not really trying to sell, but I would consider it.  Probably over your budget after a trailer is added.  If none of the others looks good and you like mine, let me know.  Base engine, otherwise pretty well loaded, with all Wetsounds stereo stuff.   http://rs569.pbsrc.com/albums/ss136/67King/Boat/20150624_164617_zpsvlymmx89.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip

Thanks for the offer 67king.  We might get in touch with you, but right now my wife really likes the one in GA.  Is there anyone in the Atlanta/cumming GA area that would possibly be willing to go look at it for my wife and I before we drop the money to fly down and look at it in person?

Also a bit over budget and a long ways away but @Fman has a 2015 that is dialed for sale listed at 79995.  http://sacramento.craigslist.org/boa/5749185411.html.  I know he takes real good care of his boats and doesn't take shortcuts on mods and upgrades.  If I were looking for a newer boat in that price range, I would be all over it.

Love only paying tax on the trailer reg, did forget that part on order new or buy used decision , but I doubt there were any cheap 2013 1st year gate wake setters in December 2013 when I ordered surfgate for 14' axis 1st year gate
