Power Wedge Wiring Questions Continue

Recommended Posts

Looking at the video it appears that the voltage was dropping significantly so that was causing the surging situation. I guess maybe there is a weak cell in one of the batteries that fails under continuous load of the wedge moving.

Maybe a battery load test at Autozone or Napa will show which one is having trouble. If is bad enough that the surging was happening with the boat running with the alternator supplying some power then the load test should identify which one is bad.

At least that is the way it plays out in my head.

Good job sticking to it..

Can someone show me a picture of how the power wedge switch is suppose to be hooked hooked up. Which color wires go where!

What year and model of boat?
