Wake tower reccomendation

I would like to get a wake tower for my 95 response. Looking for some budget-friendly suggestions. (I know boat and budget don't belong in the same sentence.) I also really like the look of the tower-mounted bimini tops. Is there a brand that offers package deals with the tower and bimini together? Any brands to stay away from?

Thanks in advance!

Before we had a Malibu we put a tower on our runabout.  The Joystick was the best budget tower I could find.  http://www.joystickwakeboarding.com/pro-series/

It has all custom machined aluminum joints with stainless hardware.  It doesn't rattle, that's my favorite part about this tower.  It's not as stiff as the premium towers but it served us fine for quite a few years and I have no problem recommending one to a friend.

This was our boat.

I just took another look at the Joystick website.  If you wanted the beefier tower their signature series is still pretty budget friendly and may look more at home on an inboard. Again I was pretty happy with their construction and customer service.

Be patient and buy anything that says Titan on it.   Solid.   The Titan 3 "is never available" yet, I've now seen three different T3s on craigslist.    The last one was $500 in Modesto CA.

For a previous boat, I bought a T3 for a great deal from a dealer who had it laying around upstairs (old demo).   Then I found another that was fully loaded with racks and bimini on CL.  I bought it too, then sold the 2nd one (keeping all accessories) to Star One (they loaded new speakers and accessories, and re-powder coated for next guy) and I essentially ended up with a free tower and accessories.    Creativity for the budget minded. :)

The way to get a cost effective, flex and rattle free tower is to keep it simple.  Rear slanted is more stable and stronger.  The less joints (non-welded), the better.  Every joint is a point of flex and rattle.

Anyone have any experience with Aerial wake towers? Found a good price on one on Craigslist not too far from me. I may go get it this weekend unless they are total junk. It is a very simple design, main hoop with one support on either side...

I checked out Aerial before choosing Joystick.  I didn't like the joints as much but I doubt they're "total junk".  I'd be curious how the width is set on the aerial tower.  On the joystick I installed,  we mounted the legs w/ the hardware and then had to drill the top tube and insert a bolt to set the width.  So if I were to remove that tower and install it on another boat  I'd have to re drill those holes.  If the new boat was more narrow it could be fine but if the new boat was wider the old holes would be exposed.  Just something to consider if the Aerial was previously installed on another boat.

We had an Aerial/Liquid audio/Many other names  tower on our Bayliner.  Cut/drill to fit center section and lots of set screws to come loose.  That was in 2006 though so some things may have changed
