2004 21 XTi with 340 Monsoon air filter

My air filter is gone . . . complete newbie with new-to-me boat found it in the bilge and could not see where it connected, so ended up tossing it.  

Why it was on there loose enough to fall off is another story - it had been serviced by a Malibu dealer its whole life (yes, I saw the receipts).  $100 mistake, I guess.   Water under the bridge.  

The boat is an '04 Wakesetter 21 XTi with the 335 hp Monsoon serial number 101648.

My questions are:

1. Is the 525022 from Bakes the right part?
2. Is there a cheaper alternative?
