Just noticed that my rear locker appears to be broken at the hinge.  You can tell when you open it that the trunk as split left to right, right at the hinge.  Anyone know what the rear locker is made of?? Plywood?  Fiberglass??  Any suggestions on repair?  What sucks is my upholstery is in great shape and getting this fixed would inevitably be new fabric which would stand out.  Wondering how long I can live with it.  Has anyone else experienced this before?

not sure about your '99  but my '04 r has a honeycomb/corrugated aluminum panel/lid over the ski locker across the stern.

mine is sagging but, when it does fail, i'm told by my dealership that it's covered by the lifetime hull warranty.
